The first half of 2026 marked a transformative period for Ambassadori Island Batumi, defined by major milestones and strategic achievements. The project not only maintained its dynamic pace of development but also significantly expanded its international presence and network of strategic partnerships. The continued expansion of reclaimed land in the Black Sea, active positioning on the global investment stage, and substantial progress across the construction site are further establishing the first artificial island project in the Black Sea as one of the region's most ambitious urban developments.

During the first six months of the year, the Ambassadori Island Batumi team carried out an extensive international campaign to promote both the project and Georgia's investment potential.

At MIPIM 2026 in Cannes, one of the world's leading real estate forums, the project's unique concept was presented to global industry leaders and key decision-makers. In addition, at MIIF 2026, held at the Yacht Club de Monaco, the Ambassadori Island Batumi team engaged directly with international investors on one of Europe's most prestigious investment platforms.

The project's engineering scale also reached a new milestone during the first half of 2026. The reclaimed land advanced an additional 200 metres into the Black Sea, bringing the total length of the reclaimed land to 500 metres.

At the same time, the project hosted a landmark event on the island itself - the symbolic capsule laying ceremony for The First Tower. The ceremony was attended by a high-level delegation from the Government of Georgia, further highlighting the project's strategic importance at both the national and international levels.

Today, construction of The First Tower continues on a daily basis. The structural framework of the building is steadily rising, while foundation works are progressing with the highest standards of engineering precision and technical excellence.

As part of the next phase of development, the project is actively preparing to launch the local production of Xblocks. These specially engineered concrete units will be used for the construction of the island's coastal protection structures, ensuring its long-term resilience, stability, and safety.

Ambassadori Island Batumi continues to demonstrate unprecedented development momentum. Construction is progressing significantly ahead of the original schedule, with investment commitments being fulfilled five years ahead of plan. The 48-hectare land area created in the Black Sea has already been officially commissioned, while the project has now entered a new phase of above-ground construction, further demonstrating both the scale of the development and the remarkable pace of its progress.
