Ambassadori Island Batumi Unveils its Smart City Vision Development at GREMO 2026

In partnership with Ambassadori Island Batumi, the real estate and development forum GREMO 2026 was held at the Courtyard by Marriott in Batumi. Co-organized by Real Estate Prospect and BMG, the high-profile event brought together industry leaders, investors, experts, and key business executives.
Focused primarily on the development of premium resorts and contemporary real estate projects in Georgia, the forum featured a keynote presentation by Mustafa Ay, Senior Urban Planner at the international consulting and engineering company ARUP, who introduced the project's "Smart City" vision development.
The ARUP speaker introduced the core components of the vision to the audience, sharing global best practices utilized in the development of modern cities and premier tourist destinations. The presentation highlighted sustainable urban growth, human-centric design, data-driven solutions, and the transformative role of technology in modern residential and leisure environments.
"While smart city concepts are inherently tech-oriented, our objective here is to place the unique environment and rich heritage of the area at the forefront, seamlessly integrating these elements into intelligent systems. This is precisely what will define Ambassadori Island as a truly distinct project," stated Mustafa Ay.
Developed in strict alignment with long-term sustainability principles, the innovative Ambassadori Island project involves the creation of two artificial peninsulas and one island. The development is setting a new benchmark for coastal urban planning, positioning itself to become a major new economic and tourism hub for the entire region.
