Ambassadori Island Batumi will contribute $65 million annually to the country's budget in the form of taxes

The "Ambassadori Island Batumi" project will accumulate $65 million annually in the country's budget after its full implementation. This statement was made by the project’s CEO Gocha Kamkia. According to him, the economic scale and projected financial data of "Ambassadori Island Batumi" are comparable to those of the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline project.
The initiation of “Ambassadori Island Batumi”was undertaken within the framework of a global economic initiative in Georgia, and today we are witnessing remarkably transformative results in terms of the project’s development. Upon completion, the artificial island and peninsulas project will accumulate $65 million in annual tax revenue for the national budget. Drawing parallels based on public data, we can state that these economic figures precisely equate to those generated by the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan global economic project,” stated Gocha Kamkia, CEO of Ambassadori Island Batumi.
The project itself represents a new milestone in the Black Sea region in terms of real estate development and elevating industry standards to new heights., which includes hotels, apartments, villas, a yacht club, a heliport, educational and medical facilities, etc. The project is entirely focused on the welfare of the public, as 49% of the territory is dedicated to public, recreational spaces.
To date, since the inception of the project, the company has reclaimed 48 hectares of land in the Black Sea, signifying that over 50% of the project has already been realized. The commissioning of the aforementioned 48 hectares is scheduled for January; meanwhile, as of today, 26 hectares have already been put into operation. Where the construction of Ambassadori’s first ultra-modern, multifunctional complex has already commenced.
