With the support of Ambassadori Island Batumi, the Georgia International Maritime Forum  GIMF 2026  was held. The three-day governmental forum, centered around the theme “Where Seas Meet Corridors,” brought together high-level guests, international partners, representatives of academia, and professionals from the global maritime industry. A total of 400 delegates from 40 countries attended the forum.

The forum was organized by the Maritime Transport Agency of Georgia with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. Its main objective was to strengthen regional dialogue, address shared challenges, and promote practical cooperation between governments and international partners.

Held annually since 2016, GIMF has developed into an important platform bringing together regulators and representatives of the maritime industry. The forum contributes to the integration of transport routes across the Black Sea region into the global maritime ecosystem and supports the development of more efficient and predictable connections for international trade.

“Ambassadori Island Batumi” supports initiatives that contribute to the economic development of Georgia and the region, strengthen international cooperation, and create new opportunities.
