“On Ambassadori Island, Georgian Companies Are Currently Carrying Out Investment Projects Worth More Than $600 Million” - Gocha Kamkia

Investment projects worth more than $600 million are already underway on Batumi’s artificial island, with most of them being carried out by Georgian companies. Active participation of local businesses in the development of the project reflects a high level of synergy within the domestic market.
“Since we have already estimated the development figures for each individual project, I can say that Georgian companies are currently implementing investment projects on the island worth more than $600 million.
These projects are being led by purely Georgian companies, which is the greatest source of satisfaction for us. When we were planning all of this, our main goal was to ensure that, in the future, this success would also be shared with other Georgian companies. Today, we already have a picture in which Georgian businesses are represented on Ambassador Island. This project is a shared asset for them as well. They are working with us in full synergy and creating their own independent success stories, which I believe is an excellent outcome,” said Gocha Kamkia.
“As for other interesting facts and figures, we recorded a very notable indicator in March: approximately 70% of the real estate was purchased by EU citizens. This is official data. Their age ranges roughly from 25 to 45. EU citizens tend to be quite cautious and take a long time when making decisions.
On the other hand, this is the age group in which people are at their most productive, focused on the future, and investing in their own prospects. All of this confirms that our company’s deep integration of international systems has earned substantial trust on the global stage.
Accordingly, EU citizens are already making appropriate decisions, and we treat that trust with great care. Going forward, we plan to introduce various programs to give them even more motivation to make such decisions,” Kamkia said.
